FC 1000 IM2 at CHINAPLAS 2021: highest throughput and cutting precision
Despite a limited international presence compared to its previous editions, CHINAPLAS 2021 offered WM the chance not only to be closer but also to interact with the visitors, with real-time demonstrations streamed directly from the headquarter in Stabio, Switzerland, for the whole duration of the show.
The machine presented was the updated FC 1000 IM2, the largest steel-rule-die machine within WM’s product portfolio offering the highest throughput per square meter currently available in the thermoforming market at the same time preserving speed and cutting precision thanks to its design and robustness.
CHINAPLAS 2021 was a precious opportunity to gather insights on the current market situation. The highly demanding and fast changing packaging market strives to prepare for and meet the global and local consumer expectations, while the government regulations on plastics are constantly evolving. This is why WM is continuously testing new materials in collaboration with their partners and clients to always guarantee the highest quality and performance of their equipment.
Giorgio Zucchi, sales Manager for the Chinese market, emphasizes the importance of customer proximity for a continuous interaction with the local market. During the last 15 months the way of communication has changed, new and existing technologies have been used to keep in contact with customers, especially distant ones.
But the support of our local team was of utmost importance for understanding and interacting with the market.
New ideas and thoughts on future developments regarding new materials such as PLA, PBS , PBAT help us to provide our customers with the necessary support for success in the near and mid future. “We are eager to participate in the CHINAPLAS 2022 edition in Shanghai”, says Giorgio Zucchi.
