WM Wrapping Machinery SA, the Swiss manufacturer of thermoforming machines, is present at NPE 2015, the world’s most important plastics trade show. Booth nr S12139.
On the occasion of this event, WM is exhibiting the FT 900, the largest model of thermoformig machine with lower tilting platen. With a rotation of 75 degrees a quick and precise ejection of the formed parts is assured, allowing the consequent stacking into a dedicated cage.
The tilting system uses a combination of servomotor driven cams and levers, based on an innovative double desmodromic concept.
This guarantees absolute precision in movements and a controlled distribution of forces both during the platen rotation and in the cutting phase of the cycle. The stacking is operated by a rotating plate with mandrels which collect products ejected from the lower half mould and pile them up into a casing basket. Once counted, the pieces are progressively discharged, row by row, on a conveyor belt.
NPE is also a great opportunity to present to the American market and to the world of plastic the deal reached between WM Wrapping Machinery and Elkhorn Tech Center.
Elkhorn Tech Center is going to become the permanent base of WM’s US sales and technical teams, thanks to the commercial and technical cooperation between Eng. Luca Oliverio, WM North America Area Manager, and Mr. Kent Johansson, one of the most experienced and update US professional men in the field of thermoforming.
After NPE show WM will organize an Open House at the Elkhorn Tech Center where the customers will have the opportunity to see the FT 900 , discuss with WM commercial and technical team in order to have a full understanding about WM activity and structure in the US market.
