WM Wrapping Machinery Sa has participated to Chinaplas 2014, held in Shanghai from April 24 to 26.
The Chinaplas, with 3000 exhibitors from 39 countries around the world and spread over a total area of 220 thousand square meters, is one of the three most important shows worldwide for the plastics machinery and raw material suppliers, together with the K-show in Germany and the NPE in USA.
WM has exhibited for the second time in the Swiss Pavilion, so that many visitors were able to appreciate the traditional Swiss hospitality.
WM had the opportunity to meet, during the four days of the exhibition, more than 70 companies between established and new customers. As expected the majority of visitors were from China and Taiwan, followed by Indonesians, Vietnamese, Iranians until the lone Italian WM customer.
The Chinaplas 2014 event has been the occasion to reaffirm the presence of WM on the important Chinese market, were WM can count many fully functional plants from 2001. In fact in the first six month of 2014 WM have delivered to China three significant installations:
- FC 780 with stacker downwards to produce PP lids for Paper Noodle Cups;
- FT 700 with 18 cavity mold and with the first rimming machine to produce PET cups ø95×150 mm and a FT 900 to produce PP cups high depth ø90×180 mm starting from a sheet thickness of 2.6 mm.
WM will be happy to meet all the loyal customers and the new ones at the next Chinaplas 2015 which will be held in Guangzhou from 20th until 23rd May 2015.
